Weekly homework

Homework is set on SATS Companion on a Friday and pupils have one week to complete it. Students that have not completed their homework by the following Thursday morning will be given additional time to finish it in their break and lunchtime.

Pupils will be set:

1x maths

1x reading

1x SPAG

Reading:

Pupils should be reading at least 5 times per week for 10 minutes. This should be recorded on Boom Reader by pupils or parsents.

Maths:

Pupils can access Hit the Button or Times Tables Rock Stars at home. They can also work on their times tables by writing them down or saying them aloud if they do not have regular access to a tablet/iPad at home.

Spellings:

Children will be given spellings each week and tested on these on a Friday.

PE

This half term, PE will be on a Tuesday. Pupils should have their PE kit in school every week.
