Year 5

Year 5 Spelling Tests 

As part of their homework, pupils should practise 10 spellings based on a spelling rule. These spellings will be tested every Friday.

Date set: 15.10.21

Spelling rule: ‘ei’ making an -ee sound (e.g. conceived)

This rule is also referred to as ‘i before e, except after c’

However, there are some exceptions to the rule, e.g. science
