Welcome to St Barnabas.

I am incredibly proud to be Headteacher of our inclusive and deeply caring Church of England primary school in the heart of Erdington, welcoming children and families of all faiths and none. As part of the Fioretti Trust family, we work together with a shared commitment to providing an excellent, values-led education where every child is known, valued and supported to flourish.

At St Barnabas, we are encouragers who are Ready, Respectful and Safe. Everything we do is rooted in our Christian vision:

Our school values of honesty, friendship, determination, kindness and co-operation guide how we learn, work and treat one another. Following the example of St Barnabas, we are a welcoming, caring and hopeful school, where we encourage one another through our words, choices and actions.

We champion every child, with high expectations for everyone and a determination to remove barriers so that every child has the opportunity to flourish and become their very best self. We want every child to feel safe, to belong, to enjoy learning and to achieve their very best academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

We are one team and one learning community. We support and challenge one another, reflect on our practice and continually seek to improve.
