Research and Evaluate

This week, you will be designing a garden for everyone to enjoy – people and wildlife.

This afternoon, your task is to research different types of gardens – what sort of gardens already exist?

What features to they have? A play area? Picnic benches? Somewhere for animals to live? Colourful flowers for bees and butterflies?

Which is your favourite? Why? What features has it got that you most like?

Use what you find to help you decide what to include in your own garden! J

Farewell on Teams

Today we are thinking about how our friendships are strengthened by spending time together.

Look at the picture again (in Teams CW folder for this week).

What do you think the man and the two women in the picture are doing?

How do you think they might be feeling?

Design Brief

This afternoon, you will be designing your garden!

Your garden should include:

- A play area

- Somewhere to eat/have a picnic

- Flowers for butterflies, bees and other insects

- A ‘sensory’ area – interesting things to touch, see and listen to.

You can include extra things if you found something in your research that interested you!

Farewell on Teams

Read the story of Martha and Mary (in Teams CW folder for this week).

Jesus loved Martha and Mary equally but he wanted to them to make time for their friendship to grow.

What sort of things do you do with your friends that help your friendship to grow?

But people won’t come to it if they don’t know it is there…

This afternoon, you must design a poster telling everyone about your wonderful garden.

Include persuasive language, pictures and other information about your garden!

It would be great to see photos and videos of your amazing design and garden!

Send them to Mr Stone or me to be shared in Good Work Assembly!
