In Year Transfers

 

If you would like to make an application for your child to transfer to our school part way through the year, you will need to download and complete an In Year Transfer Form.  Your child's current school can provide you with one of these or alternatively one can be downloaded from below.  There is a section within the form that the current Headteacher will need to complete.  The completed form should be sent to the school office by email together with your child's original birth certificate or passport along with photo ID of parents/carers and proof of your address.  Acceptable proof of address:

 

A copy of your most recent Council Tax Bill,

A copy of a recent utility bill (gas, water, electric etc dated within the last 6 months),

A solicitors letter confirming contracts have been exchanged and specifying a completion date and the new address

A signed and dated tenancy agreement from either Birmingham City Council or a known Birmingham Housing Association

An official government agency letter regarding state benefit or pension  

 

Please note that if a place is offered then the office will need to see all original documents.

If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below. Please also take the time to read through our prospectus to gain a deeper insight in to life at St Barnabas CE Primary School.

 

If you would like to make an application for your child a St Barnabas Admission Form will need to be completed and emailed to the school.  The completed form should be sent to the school office by email together with your child's original birth certificate or passport along with photo ID of parents/carers and proof of your address.

ST BARNABAS NURSERY

St Barnabas' Nursery have a yearly intake every September following a child’s third birthday. Children are entitled to 15 hours a week provision, which is either allocated full day Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday AM or Wednesday PM and full day Thursday and Friday. However, for the current academic year, full time provision is available for a top-up fee of £75.00 per week for 5 full days of provision.  Some people are eligible to 30 hours funded provision.  To see if you are eligible visit https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/.

Reception 2024-2025 Admissions Information

If you wish to make an application under the faith criteria, you may do so by collecting a faith form for your Vicar to complete and returning this to the School Office by post. This is in addition to the online application made with Birmingham City Council.

Late applications for a reception place still need to be registered through the Local Authority and not directly with the school.

 

 

Nursery 2024 Admissions Information

 

The deadline for applying for a place at St. Barnabas Nursery is 15th January 2024.

 

Nursery places for 2024/25 will be offered from April 2024. St Barnabas Nursery have a yearly intake every September following a child’s third birthday. St. Barnabas currently offer a combination of nursery intakes with children attending the Nursery for the first or second half of the week or alternatively on a full time basis. You may express your attendance preference on the application form.
