Relevant skills and expertise you are bringing to the role of governor. | Working as a school leader has given me a firm grasp of the Ofsted framework, particularly the ‘quality of teaching’, analysis of data and school-wide literacy strategies and I aim to use this to enhance the school’s provision to ensure effective teaching leads to exceptional achievement for every child. |
Why I wanted to be a Governor | I am proud to live in Erdington and serve such a vibrant and diverse community. I have the highest expectations of the school in relation to the standards and quality of education for my own son, Jack, who is in Reception B, and my daughter, Mia who is in the nursery also. I want the best for them. As a Parent Governor, I aim to bring these standards and expectations to the role to ensure every parent/carer gets the very best for their children at St Barnabas too. |
